9 random things for 2009
Dec 31

It’s New Year’s Eve, and I’ve heard that they take your blogging card away if you don’t write some sort of list post. So here’s mine.
- 2008 was decidedly meh. Let’s never have another year like that.
- Sitting on your arse waiting for things to get better only means they’re going to get worse.
- eBay bores me. I’ve been saying this for far too long. Time to really do something very decisive about it.
- I quit biting my nails. If I can break one life-long habit, I can break the rest of em.
- I didn’t read nearly enough books. Remedy this next year.
- For five days in Chicago, I was really happy. Learn from this.
- I have no maternal instinct. I may have a materteral instinct, and I should find out for definite.
- I like people more than I think I do (though I still prefer cats).
- In 2009, I will have a lot more fun. That’s the closest to a new year’s resolution I’m going to get.

Grab life by the throat and enjoy it dear, there is so much more fun to be had outside of the house as I discovered many moons ago.
Enjoy 09, best wishes and fondest regards from the Whirly house. x
Take a deep breath and jump back into life feet first.
Got to be my one and only revolution for next year. All others will spring from that one thing.
Chicago was great. I’m glad I spent (some of it) with you.
